Serses is a clothing brand that stands for quietude and introspection. For us, a life well-lived involves paring things back to their most simple, organic, and essential, while refocusing on what’s important: the lived human experience. The name Serses is derived from Circe, the herbalist of Greek mythology, although we pronounce it as a combination of search and seas (SIR-sees). We’re influenced by transcendentalism in our appreciation of the natural world as a place for quiet contemplation. In ancient writing, squares had a rich symbolism representing the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water. We use the square in our logo to symbolize our grounding in the natural world.
